It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kay Unverferth of Kalida, Ohio, born in Ottoville, Ohio, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Brinkman; and her nephew Chris Potts. She is survived by: her husband Virgil "Rick" Unverferth, Jr.; her daughters, Dr. Alison Niemeyer (Andy) of Kalida, Adriene Swyers (Sean) of Kalida and Angela Schnipke (Matt) of Kalida; her grandchildren, Jakob, Isabelle, Gabrielle, Adalynn, Lauryn Swyers, Camryn Niemeyer, Virginia and Nicholas Schnipke; her stepbrother Dan Kistler of Powell, TN; and her siblings-in-law, Barb Potts (Denny) of Continental, Randy Unverferth (Barb) of Kalida, Roger Unverferth (Lisa) of Kalida, Deb McIntyre (John) of Kalida and Rod Unverferth (Tricia) of Anna, Ohio. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kalida Four Seasons Park.
