She was predeceased by: her father Alphonse Niemeyer; her husband Bernard Averesch; her son Kevin; her son-in-law Gerry Vorst; her great grandchild Sophia Steffel; and her siblings, Wayne Turk, Jerome Niemeyer (Jean), Ruth Hoorman (Gene), Alan Niemeyer, Sylvia Niemeyer and Dan Niemeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Marlene Griffith (Phil) of Ottawa, Lynda Fortman (Glen) of Kalida, Diane Schroeder (Jeff) of Kalida, Kathy Vorst of Kalida, Lisa Rummel (Dirk) of Shawnee, Michele Niese (Dean) of Kalida, Deb Sheaks (Jeff) of Kalida and Eric Averesch (Brenda) of Kalida; and her siblings-in-law, Norma Turk, Ron Niemeyer (Mary Lou), Chuck Niemeyer (Anne), Tim Niemeyer (Chris), Paul Niemeyer (Ellen), Jann Eickholt (Jerry), Angie Niemeyer, Marcia Eickholt (Dan), Jo Miller (Jake) and Rose Krietemeyer (Mark). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 3 on the way; siblings.
