Karen Ann Giesige Obituary
We bid farewell to Karen Ann Giesige of Kalida, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 11, 2025 at the age of 82. Karen Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Jacobs and Eleanor Jacobs (Nartker); and her sister Brenda Rupert. She is survived by: her husband Paul Giesige; and her children, Bruce Giesige (Nancy) of Beavercreek, Shelly Knueve (Ed) of Kalida, Randy Giesige of Leipsic, Roger Giesige (Denise) of Kalida, Jen Helmke (Brent) of Kalida and Jeff Giesige (Shelly) of Kalida. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A vigil service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Jackson Twp (16085 OH-634, Fort Jennings, OH 45844). Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (Broad St, Kalida, OH 45853).
