It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Richard Schroeder of Kalida, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald "Mike" Schroeder and Marjorie Schroeder (Fortman); his parents-in-law, Bernard and Mary Jane Averesch; and his brother-in-law Gerry Vorst.
He is survived by: his daughters, Katrina "Katie" Walker (Matt) of Glandorf, Brianna Rau (Eric) of Kalida and Jennifer "Jenna" Ragland (Stephen) of Grove City; his grandchildren, Lyla, Burke Walker, Jude, Elliette, Waylon, Alexander Rau, Cassian and Lincoln Ragland; his brothers, David Schroeder (Rita) of Kalida and Ron Schroeder (Jackie) of Kalida; and his in-laws, Marlene Griffith (Phil), Lynda Fortman (Glen), Kathy Vorst, Lisa Rummel (Dirk), Michele Niese (Dean), Deb Sheaks (Jeff) and Eric Averesch (Brenda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Kalida Four Seasons Park or Kalida St. Michael Catholic Church, Building Fund for the Main Entrance Project.
