He is survived by: his wife Helen S. Lammers; his sons, Mark Gerding (Mary) of Kalida, Roger Gerding (Kim) of Ada, Mike Gerding (Annette) of Kalida and Alan Gerding of Kalida; his grandchildren, Neil Gerding (Lexi) of Kalida, Carrie Fortney (Houston) of Columbus, Abby Gerding of Ada, Alison Gerding of Ada, Trent Gerding of Cincinnati, Tara Gerding of Troy and Maria Gerding of Kalida; his great grandchild James G. Gerding; his brothers, John Gerding (Nancy) of Miller City, Steve Gerding (Gina) of Glandorf and Don Gerding (Joan) of Ottawa; and his sister-in-law Judy Gerding of Ottawa.
