He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joseph, Mary Meyer, August and Mary Vorst. He is survived by: his parents, Richard F. Vorst and Wilma R. Vorst (Meyer); his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Averesch; his children, Alexis Vorst (Brandon Hoffman) of Kalida and Nathan Vorst of Kalida; and his siblings, Kevin Vorst (Becky) of Ayersville, Sharon Meyer (Elmer) of Glandorf, Brenda Maag (Brian) of Glandorf, Steve Vorst (Kathy) of Delphos, Scott Vorst (Brenda) of Kalida and Tracy Siefker (Brian) of Glandorf.
