Eleanor Basinger Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2019, at the age of 86, Eleanor Basinger (Kalida, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Wurth and Katie Wurth (Schmitz); her husband George G. Basinger; her children, Virginia Leis (Brad) of Ottawa, Julia Basinger of Kalida, John Basinger (Brenda) of Kalida, Peg Basinger of Kalida, Ken Basinger (Jackie) of Kalida and Chris Basinger (Julia) of Ottawa; her brothers, Tom Wurth (Ruth) of Kalida and Gene Wurth (Joyce) of Kalida; her sister-in-law Edna Wurth of Cloverdale; her pet Macy; her son Dan Basinger; her son-in-law Larry Henry; her great grandchildren, Logan and Marek Moros; and her siblings, Joe Wurth (Holly), Carl Wurth (Betty), Bob Wurth (Martha), Louis Wurth (Mary Ann), Rich Wurth, Peter Wurth, Marie Langhals (Tony), Millie Ellerbrock (Ben) and Emma Hoersten (Ed). She was also cherished by twenty-six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
