It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecilia Gerdeman of Kalida, Ohio, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cecilia Gerdeman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Osterhage and Amelia Osterhage (Meyer); her husband Donald Gerdeman; her son Mark Gerdeman; her siblings, Alfred, Wilfred, Eugene, Paul, Louis, Robert Osterhage, Rose Arlene Kistler, Juliana Hamilton, Joan Kuhlman and Mildred Remlinger; and her siblings-in-law, Rosalia Osterhage, Joan Osterhage, Joseph Kistler, David Hamilton and Wilbur Remlinger.
She is survived by: her sons, James Gerdeman (Mary Jo) of Coral Springs, FL, David Gerdeman (Pam) of Ada, MI, William Gerdeman (Barb) of Aken, SC and Alan Gerdeman (Ruth) of Kalida; her sisters, Marie Langhals (Joe) of Kalida, Ruth Ann Manley (David) of Hinckley and Rita Morman (Roy) of Glandorf; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Kuhlman of Ottawa, Bob Gerdeman (Jeannine) of Columbus Grove, Tom Gerdeman (Mary) of Columbus Grove, Pauline Osterhage of Kalida and Dorothy Osterhage of Glandorf. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Due to the restrictions regarding COVID 19, masks are required when entering the funeral home and/or church.
