He was predeceased by: his stepparents, Gordon Ogilvie and Erlene Whitaker; and his parents-in-law, Floyd Johnston, Geraldine and William Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his children, Matthew Stavroff (Gabriela Alvarez) of Westerville, Lindsey Stavroff (Chad Holewinski) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvannia and Gabrielle Whitaker-Bateman (Joseph) of Columbus, Ohio; his grandson Andrew Joseph "Budgy" Bateman; his parents, Max Whitaker of Sequim, Washington and Judy Ogilvie of Sequim, Washington; his sisters, Ann Milligan of Sequim and Patrice "Boo" Hoffmann of Germany; and his mother-in-law Kim Johnston of Dublin, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
