Virginia L. Wathley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia L. Wathley of Johnstown, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on August 13, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Kidwell and Opal Kidwell (Hoffman); her husband Jesse Carrington; her children, Cynthia Carrington and Stephen Carrington; and her siblings, Eleanor Boehm, Zeke Kidwell, Carl Kidwell, Charles Kidwell and Floyd Kidwell.
She is survived by: her former spouse Bert Wathley; her sister Thelma Cherrington; and her children, Jesse Carrington, Jr., Larry Carrington (Corinne), Kim Butcher (Jim) and Pam Gass (Monroe). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Angels Persist, 112 E. Coshocton St., Johnstown, OH 43031; a non-profit thrift store that benefits the Johnstown Community.
