He was predeceased by: his sister Donna Brooks. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Brooks (Cheryl), Travis Brooks (Melinda), Maricia Danflous (Kyle) and Zackery Brooks (Bobbie); his grandchildren, Devin, Wyatt, Christopher, Adam, Tyler, Cecelia and Lillian; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Rowan, Alayna, Emelia and Zoey; and his siblings, Esther Hunter and Beverly Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
