He is survived by: his parents, Richard Wey and Donna Van Wey (Bell); his brother Rock (Julie Van Wey); his nephews, Storm Van Wey, Stone Van Wey (Alex) and Stout Van Wey; and his cousin Kaylaann Hughes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
