He is survived by: his sons, Richard Cherry II, Nathan Cherry (Mary Beth) and Clarence Cherry (Alison); his grandchildren, Madeline, Abigail, Emily, Mathew and Bode; and his sisters, Betty Tenhulzen, Jean Pett-Ridge and Wendy Cherry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
