Smith of Johnstown, Ohio, born in Crooksville, Ohio, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul D. DeVore and Nora DeVore (Bingham); her grandchildren, Albert N. Smith III, Shane McNamara, Zach Miller and Logan Devine; and her siblings, Paul DeVore (Charlotte) and Rita Maple.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Raymond (Herb) of Johnstown, Albert N. "Bud" Smith, Jr. (Lyda Pauline) of Centerburg, Ginger Devine (Ed) of Texas and Joyce Sherwood (Bob) of Utica; her grandchildren, R. J. Sherwood, Allysha Sullivan (Tim) and Chelsey Ward (Nate); her great grandchildren, Kamdyn Smith, Kierston Smith, Mia Sherwood, Jaxson Sherwood and Cooper Sullivan; her nieces, Nora Morrison, Tondra Graham (Barry) and Paula DeVore; her nephew Jimmy Fortner (Dianna); and her great-niece Brandy Hurt.
