She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Shields and Audra Shields; her significant other Herman Leo; her children-in-law, Louis Simeone and Michelle Leo; and her sister Bonnie Amann.

She is survived by: her children, Rory Leo (Francene), Denise Simeone, Scott Leo (April), Valerie and Bruce Bierl; her grandchildren, Samantha, Louie, Tina (Pete), Dominic, Valerie, Justin, Makayla and Milton; and her siblings, Jaycee Shields and Glenda Mitchell (Ray). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
