It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Stringer of Johnstown, Ohio, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Russell Stringer of West Virginia; her parents, Connie Bailey and Isabel Bailey; and her sister Rosemary Persinger (Wayne). She is survived by: her children, Connie Stringer (Terri), Donna Marsh (Mark), Doug Stringer (Tena), Maria Claytor (Aaron) and Sean Stringer (Julie); her grandchildren, Tara, Brandon, Elizabeth, Justin, Daniel, Courtney, Russell, Jared, Kyle, Megan, Dakota and Montana; and her sister Ann Elliot (Don). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins.
In Ellen's memory, donations may be made to Angel Persist, a charity she was passionate about supporting at 112 E. Coshocton St., Johnstown, OH 43031.
