He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Painter and Ruth A. Painter (Rauch); and his sister Mary Ann Britton. He is survived by: his wife Amanda F. Painter (Nickells); his brothers-in-law, Charles Nickells, Daniel Nickells (Ruth) and Walter Nickells (Patti); his niece Lee Ann Britton; his nephew Bill Britton; and his pet Sussie. He is also survived by numerous cousins, lifelong friends.
