He was predeceased by: his father Cecil Rice; and his siblings, James Rice and Sharon Dorsey. He is survived by: his wife Janice K. Rice (Rine); his children, Matt Rice (Laura) and Shelley Rice; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Halblaub (Kris), J. D. James and Janna James; his great grandchildren, Kinsley and Kizer Halblaub; and his siblings, Suzann Reed, Sandra Holdren, Luann Judy (Ron) and Richard Rice. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
