He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn M. and Geraldine Milam (Fitzmaurice); and also Lorri Stapleton. He is survived by: his son Dillon; his sister Veronica Garrity (Thomas); his nieces, Colleen Settineri (Michael), Maureen Terrill (Adrian), Lizzie Settineri, Sofia Settineri, Victoria Terrill, Nora Garrity, William Settineri and Joseph Garrity; and his nephew Patrick Garrity (Alyssa).
