He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie McCombs and Charles L. McCombs; and his spouse Wilma Ruth Franklin. He is survived by: his children, Judy Lynn Foster, Wendy Ray Green and Randy Burdette McCombs (Judy); and his grandchildren, Shannon Kshywonis (Daniel), Ashley Okel (Travis) and Ray.

The family suggests that friends may make a donation to the Augsburg Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 140 W. Water St, Orrville, OH 44667 in his memory.
