He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph John Asmo Sr. and Gloria Bevilacqua; and his brothers, John Joseph Asmo and Danny Asmo. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Thompson Asmo; his children, Tammy Melchiori (John) of Westerville, Jody Sahr (Joe) of Columbus and Mike Thompson (Tammy) of Rumley, Ohio; and his siblings, Louis Asmo of Las Vegas, Mike Asmo of Columbus and Ramona Curtis of Columbus. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
