She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Shultz and Alma Wolfe Shultz; her husband Kenny Lawthers; her children, James Allen Miser and Peggy Darlene Miser; and her brothers, Charles and Paul Shultz.

She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Miser.
