It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris McTheny of Jewett, Ohio, born in Toronto, Ohio, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman T. Shannon and Jennie Belle Shannon (Harris); her husband Harold C. McTheny; her daughter Hazel Homol (Paul); and her siblings, Elmer, Jesse, Harley Shannon, Edna Striker, Mary Peterson and Hazel Shannon.
She is survived by: her children, Harold McTheny (Martha) of Mullins, SC and Roxane Swank (Dan) of Wardensville, W. VA.; her sisters, Florence Louise Kestner of Steubenville, OH and Delores Ellen Beadnell of Amsterdam, OH.; and her grandchild Twenty.
