He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Johnston of Jewell; his sons, Scott Johnston (Traci) of Lima and Shawn Johnston (Annette) of Defiance; his grandchildren, Kelsey Zipfel, Alyssa Johnston, Christian M. Johnston and Christian J. Driftmyer; his great grandchild Silas S. Shafer; and his siblings, Jennifer Dockery of Defiance and James Johnston of Defiance.
