He was predeceased by: his parents, Girdon Brown and Lucille Brown; his wife Leona Carpenter Brown; his sons, Gary, David and Mike; and his grandson Terry.
He is survived by: his son Tim Brown (Amy Long); his daughters-in-law, Alice Brown and Mary Brown; his sister-in-law Marlin (Evelena Brown); and his sister Diane. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 12 great great-grandchildren; a brother.
