He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Fredrick Bowman and Viola Canfield Bowman; his wife Lois Bowman; and his brother Richard Bowman. He is survived by: his sons, David Lee Bowman (Maureen) of Allen and Dwight Bowman (Connie) of Galena, Ohio; his stepdaughter Janice Hammond (James) of Athens, Alabama; and his sister Beverly Wolf of Wadsworth, Ohio. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
