He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Eugene Goard and Oda Garn Goard; his siblings, Carol Jean Goard and Jimmy Dean Goard; and his great-nephews, Troy Biddinger, Shawn Barre and Brandon Shrider.
He is survived by: his sisters, Ada Sue Workman (Gerald) of Hayesville, Janet Rush of Florida, Diana Funk (Lloy) of Ashland and Lucinda Biddinger (Larry) of New London; and his nieces and nephews, Teresa Barre, Tina Gerlak (Joe), Shellie Daniels, Julie Shrider (Ben), Tara Goard, Tritain Biddinger (Kim), Tyler Biddinger (Chasity) and Ryan Funk (Meggie). He is also survived by 10 great nieces, 15 great nephews, 4 great great nieces, and 4 great great nephews.
