It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Rae Freelon of Jeromesville, Ohio, born in Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Austin and Cordelia Moore Austin; her husband Robert Freelon; her son James Freelon; and her brother Gene Austin.
She is survived by: her daughter Kassie Poynter (Bob) of Jeromesville; and her daughter-in-law Lynn Freelon. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren.
