It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Slater of Jeromesville, Ohio, born in Lodi, Ohio, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Urlin Slater and Blanche Feazel Slater; his sister Elizabeth Bowie; and his daughter-in-law Deb Slater. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Bone Slater; his children, Jeffrey Slater and Jenny Slater (Barb Steiner); his grandchildren, Hanna Slater (Stephanie) and Taylor Slater; his great grandchild Madison; his brother James Slater (Shirley); and also Joni Hite. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
