In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hopkins and Mary Hopkins; his close friend Jan Kelly; and his siblings, Stephen Hopkins (Colleen), Margaret Billick and Willard Hopkins.
He is survived by: his brother John Hopkins (Julie) of Guemes Island, WA; and his siblings-in-law, Lillian Hopkins of Hamilton, OH and Jim Billick of Henderson, NV. He is also survived by her four children and ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fickes Funeral Home (84 N High St, Jeromesville, OH 44840).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mary & Ernest Hopkins Memorial Scholarship fund at the Ashland County Community Foundation.
