He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe D. Miller and Katie Ann Miller (Beachy); his siblings, Willard Miller and Sarah Ann Miller; and his grandchildren, Samuel and Isabelle Joy Starkey.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Nate Miller (Suetta) of Goshen, IN, Sarah Miller of Wooster, Elizabeth Starkey (Steven) of Wooster and Leah Shetler (Henry) of Cochranton, PA; his grandchildren, Elijah, Abigail, Hannah, Hadassah, Elise Miller, James, Matthew, Karmen and Carson Shetler; his siblings, Wilma Weaver (Pete) of Sarasota, FL, David Miller (Martha) of Hartville, Ada Kay Bontrager (Terry) of Wellman, IA and Joseph Jr. Miller (Julia) of Berlin; and his siblings-in-law, Miriam Miller of Kidron, Rhoada McGuire of Jeromesville and Garry McKean (Donna) of Big Prairie.
