He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josef Maucher and Magdalena Maucher; his brother Alois Maucher of Germany; his nephew Paul Missel of Germany; his niece Ursula Bisinger (family: Susanne, Joachim, Johannes, Helen Oelkuch); and his stepson Tyler Hofe of South Carolina. He was also cherished by other nieces and nephews.
