He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph and Lucille; his daughter Betsy; and his siblings, Maxine, Cecil, Richard and Bobby.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Atterholt; his children, Donny, Donna Williams (Dave), Toby Farrell and Donald Franks II (Cathie); his grandchildren, Samuel (Sara), Rachael, Philip, Nicholas, Daniel, Megan, Kyle, Regan, Audrey, Erynn and Kolin; his great grandchild Lewis; and his siblings, Tom, Gerald, Larry, Kenny, Cordelia, Doris, Marilyn, Carolyn and Linda.
