She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Smith and Belle Smith (Meeks); her husband Elmer F. Rettig; and her brothers, Robert and Terry Smith.

She is survived by: her nephews, James Reichley (Debra), Kevin Reichley (Lisa) and Dennis Gossman; and her niece Janice Reichley.
