He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Chaffin (Bennett); his son Ryan Chaffin; his grandchildren, Cameron Boysel and Rylan Chaffin; his siblings, Preston Chaffin and Peggy Hill; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Kinzer, Sandy Bennett (Herby) and Sharon Bennett (Max). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
