She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Lewis and Eliza Baker Lewis; her husband Lester "Bud" Cook Jr.; her children, Connie Cook, Kathy Paul, Marilyn Berner, Janet Muncie and Joey Jay Cook; and her granddaughter Becky Bolen Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Cook of Sabina and Ginny Adams of Wilmington. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
