He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Gephart and Mabel Gephart (Harp); his wife Shirley Poppaw; his daughter Cheri L. Staggs; and his grandson Billy R. Staggs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Hoops (Chuck) of Brookville, Vicki Crowe of Gratis and Becky Ivey of North Carolina; and his brothers, Bob Gephart (Carolyn) and Marvin Gephart (Sarah). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
