He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Alanen and Phyllis Alanen. He is survived by: his wife Pam Alanen; his former wife Dee Alanen; his sons, Philip Marcus Alanen and Robert Alanen (Jamee Colucci); and his brother Tom Alanen (Maggie Alanen).
