He was predeceased by: his parents, James Piper and Helen Piper. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Piper; his children, Lyn Palm of South Carolina and Elizabeth Witcher (Timothy) of Montana; his grandchildren, Nicholas Palm, Katherine Palm, Izabella Martin and Cody Martin; and his brother Terry Piper (Paulette).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hospice of the Western Reserve or the American Cancer Society.
