He is survived by: his children, James R. Combs, Jr. of Dayton, Lisa Jean Fitzgerald of Miamisburg, Connie Sue Combs of Dayton and Jennifer Worman of New Lebanon; and his siblings, Charles Combs of Englewood, Shade Combs, Jr. of Dayton, Dale Combs of Dayton, Barbara Halfey of Union, Wilma Powell of Centerville and Betty Terrill of Brookville. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
