He was predeceased by: his parents, David E. Long, and Shirley Long, Jr. (Pier); his wife Gretchen; his siblings, Carolyn Roury, Karen Rasi, Richard Long, John Long and Marie Sands; and his grandson Hayden.
He is survived by: his children, Tammie Turner (Jill Davis), Michael Long, Lynnette Maydak and Erich Long (Kelly Jo); his grandchildren, Adam, Amber, Mandi, Forrest, Abbey, Liam and Hunter; and his siblings, Charles Long (Sharon), June Bailey, Donna Gully, Helen Alexander and Robert Long. He is also survived by his nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
