She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McCarthy and Marilyn McCarthy (Wright). She is survived by: her husband Ron Childers; her children, Sabrina Stokes (Peter) and Jon Childers (Caren); her siblings, Terry Dirr (Mike), Bob McCarthy (Cindy), Pat McCarthy, Brian McCarthy (Leslie) and Tim McCarthy; and her aunt Sally McCarthy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and beloved cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors (49 W Jefferson St, Jefferson, OH 44047). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
