We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2024, at the age of 78, Arlene Joyce Kohta of Jefferson, Ohio, born in Ashtabula, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Alfred and Emogene Piper (Fetters); her stepfather Earl Smith; and her siblings, Walter Piper and Ellen Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Nypaver (Joe), Brenda Kohta (Lincoln Russell) and Alan Kohta (Tracy).
In lieu of flowers, her children kindly request donations be made in her memory to World Central Kitchen (wck.org), the Arthritis Foundation (arthritis.org), or the Alzheimer's Foundation (alzfdn.org).
