It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Bogan of Jamestown, Ohio, born in Yellow Springs, Ohio, who passed away on October 3, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Bogan and Charlotte Taylor Bogan; his grandson Joseph Richard Bogan; and his sister Joan Fawley. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Bogan (Williams); his stepbrother Jerry Newland (Joan) of Meacham; his children, Marsha Jacoby (Keith) of Wilmington, Gary Bogan (Sherry) and Kathy Trisel (Gary) of Jamestown; his pet Dexter; his brother-in-law Danny Williams (Donna) of Wilmington; and his grandchildren, Joshua Gibson (Laura), Amber Hicks (Steve), Dustin Jacoby, John Jacoby (Antonia), Brittany Grant (Cole), Clara Bogan, Cody Rowe, Connor Bogan, Seth Trisel (Clara), Sarah Elizabeth and Sadie Mae Trisel. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jamestown Church of Christ, 152 W. Washington St., Jamestown, OH. 45335, in his memory.
