He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Pitzer and Doris Lane; and his siblings, Jack Pitzer, Bill Pitzer, Bobby, Dorothy Fouse and Evelyn Archer.

He is survived by: his wife Lena Pitzer; his son Todd Pitzer (Angel); his grandchildren, Larry Pitzer (Becca) and Shyanne Pitzer (Aspen); his great grandchild Stella Denny; and his brother Charlie Pitzer David (late Betty). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
