It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Jenkins in Jamestown, Ohio, born in Turkey, Texas, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Spitler and Eula Mae Lane Spitler; her husband James W. Jenkins; and her siblings, Helen L. Penewit and Jim Ray Spitler.

She is survived by: her children, Paulette Downing, Stephen Jenkins and Brad Jenkins; and her brother Charles Spitler.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in her loving memory.
