She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Eakins and Helen Kirk Eakins; her stepfather Raymond Ellinger; her husband Harold Lee Mays; and her brothers, Delbert Wayne Eakins and Robert I. Eakins, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Roxanne Chaney (Keith) and Kirk Mays; her grandchildren, Austin, Tori, Jarrod and Jakob; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Eakins, Elizabeth Eakins (Babe) and Jon Mays. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
