He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reed and Carrie Reed (Hammock); and his siblings, Barbara Baures, Tina Broas, Diane Davidson, Doris Null, Gordon Reed, Georgia Kingsolver, Johnny Reed, Claude Edward and Mildred Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Ella Thomas of New York, Ellen Tatum of North Carolina, Monaca Collins of Circleville, Heather Butler of Georgia, Jason Marcum (Stephanie) of Beavercreek, Sarah Reed-Heater (Brett) of Hillsboro, Eric Reed of Jamestown, Jeff Bidwell (Ashley) of Huber Heights and Jennifer Smith (Ronald) of Miamisburg; his grandchildren, Allen, Amber, Catherine, Christina, Chance, Cassandra, Courtney, Michael, Brandon, Hallie, McKenna, Jason, Zach, Jacob, Charlie, Gage, Mahalia, Trent, Joyce, Shaelyn, Harley, Jordy, Hailey, Jeff, Kaden, Katlyn, Ronnie, Dylan and Bailey; and his siblings, Estle Reed (Vicki) of Minnesota, Francis Eavers of Jamestown and Mary Kuhner of Xenia. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Powers-Kell Funeral Home (12 N Limestone St, Jamestown, OH 45335). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
