He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Knox and Marjorie Knox (Powell) of Leescreek, Ohio.; his brother-in-law Gary Martin of New Orleans; his siblings, James Knox and Nancy Chester; his sisters-in-law, Martha Martin (Bill) and Kathy Beal; his nephews, Tony Knox, Randy Behrends and Jared Brown; and his niece Amy Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Sue Knox (Martin); his daughter Debra Sue Knox; his granddaughters, Lauren Ashlee Schirtzinger and Brooke Logan Hentrich of Jamestown; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Martin, Larry Martin (Connie) of Jamestown, Linda Campbell (Gary) of Washington, CH. and Becky McClain of Xenia.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nursing Program, c/o Park National Bank 82 West Washington Street, Jamestown, Ohio 45335.
