We bid farewell to Billy Carter of Jamestown, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 20, 2024 at the age of 100. Billy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Carter and Cordelia Carter; his wife Betty; his sons, David and Paul Carter; his grandchildren, Chiquita Carter and Shelley Bledsole; and his siblings, Macey Carey, Elsie Davis, Mary Ellen Lacy, Daisy Allread, Raymond Carter, Margie Carter, Joe Carter, Marion Carter, Martha Hoffer, Glen Carter and Robert Carter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Carter and Nancy Carter; his grandchildren, Gene Rader, Luther Carter (Gina), John Rader (Christina), Angie Maki (Ed), Paul Carter (Mia), Daniel Rader (Brandy), Elaine Scott (Jason), Jimmie Bledsole II, Amanda Bledsole, Keith Carter (Sara) and Janae Kipp (Clayton); his siblings, Pauline Martin, Alice Morris, Donna Greene, Jane Masters and Jim Carter; and his daughters-in-law, Janet Carter and Anita Carter. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous bonus grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
